Anatomica Lot. 618 Marilyn II Jeans

Anatomica lot 618 finds its inspiration in the women's jeans made by Lee in the 50's. As the name suggests these jeans was loved by actress Norma Jean also known as Marilyn Monroe.

618 Marilyn II Jeans are a classic pair of jeans with a regular high waist. The design is cut with darts that go from the yoke into the back pockets. This creates a unique hip line that follows the shape of the body. The fit is cut slimmer than Marilyn I but still with a straight leg that's slightly tapered at the leg opening.

The jeans are made of a Japanese selvedge denim, sturdy enough for everyday use but soft enough to sit down in. Anatomica have put all their effort to recreate the fabric used in vintage women's jeans from the middle of the last century and we have to say that we are impressed of how well they have succeeded in this.

Norma is wearing a size W25 and measures 167 cm tall. Her waist measures 66 cm, hips 82 cm and seat 97 cm.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface when buttoned on the tightest of the two buttons. The thigh measurements are taken 10 centimeters down from the crotch straight across the pant leg. The hips is measured 15 cm down from the waist straight across.
