Big Rock Candy Mountaineering designs outdoor clothing based on early American alpinists, mountaineers, and gear innovators who defined the outdoor style of the 1950s, 60s, and 70s.
The Alpine Jacket is an easy-wearing fall winter jacket designed to thrive in shifting seasons. Crafted from sleek, 100% nylon fabric that feels smooth and comfortable against the skin and generously filled with lofty Thermore Ecodown Genius Fibers that trap warmth without weighing you down.
Drawing inspiration from 70s mountain outerwear, it features distinctive front sweep pockets, a full two-way zip front that gives you flexible ventilation, and a knit hem and cuffs that help seal out drafts and keep the fit tidy. Though lighter than the rugged Arctic Parka, the Alpine holds its own against unpredictable weather thanks to its reliable Thermore down fill, adjustable drawstring hood, and a relaxed silhouette designed for easy layering.
Douglas is 180 cm tall with a weigh of 85 kilos and wears a size L. Combining the jacket with a pair of Orslow Herringbone Trousers and a pair of Big Rock Candy Mountaineering El Cap Suede Boots.
Ebba is 158 cm tall and wears size XS.
