Based on the French Varappe style climbing shoe—the shoe that ultimately ended up on every dirtbag’s foot in Yosemite Valley and the grandfather of the modern climbing shoe. Big Rock Candy Mountaineering created a custom last with modern footing to make them comfortable for everyday wear.
The El Cap boots feature a leather upper, leather lining and insole, and a rubberized leather mudguard at the toe, heel, and base of the upper. They are constructed using a Blake stitch making them suitable for everyday use and strong enough for heavy outdoorswear. Includes extra laces and dust bags.
