Bryceland's, founded by Kenji Cheung and Ethan Newton in 2015, is an expression of the classic men's wardrobe. Bryceland's Brent jacket is a twist on that, based on an Australian jacket of the 1950’s, its idiosyncracies make it familiar but unexpected at the same time.
Made in Kanagawa, just outside of Tokyo, using a veg tanned black over brown horsehide, as the jacket ages it will uncover brown highlights. With solid brass zippers from Talon Japan and Bryceland's original print rayon lining, the short blouson type jacket is meant to be thrown over a tee and jeans, a light layering piece that needs a cafe racer and an empty road.
We have seen many fine leather jackets during our 15 years as a store but few have managed to impress us in the same way as the Brent jacket does. All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface.
Width is measured straight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the sleeve length is measured from the top of shoulder of the arm to the end of the cuff. Across Shoulders is measured straight across from shoulder point to shoulder point.
