The U.S. Navy Deck Hook jacket was introduced in 1943 as a further development of the "Deck zip jacket" that had issues with the zipper being exposed to rough weather and sea salt. This version was designed with metal clips known as "lobster hooks" that covers the front of the jacket and that easily can be closed with gloves. The jacket is built of layers with a wool lining and a outer layer of durable jungle cloth combined to keep you warm and protected from the cold weather.
This jacket was designed top be worn on top of other garments so it is large in the construction and we recommend you to size down one or two sizes in order to get a good fit. See the size chart for more information.
