The book covers the history of Levi's most iconic style and how the 501 came to change over the years. In the book Yutaka documented 51 of the worlds most impressive examples of 501 jeans, working with devout collectors including Naru Kawamoto, Nao Koshiba, Takashi Sanai, Naoto Baba, Yawara Miura and Shigeki Wakiya as well as the Levis's archive, who also provided their collections for this project.
