Many of the USAAF combat squadrons had their own baseball teams. Their sportswear was actual mil spec. government issue and this ELMC shirt is inspired by the originals.
The fabric is produced using a combination of two dying methods. Sakizome (pre-dyed before weaving) and Atozome (woven then dyed). Dying is performed in one location, and sewing in another. The tubular body construction is specially woven on a vintage circular knitting machine and the cotton yarn is produced to perfectly matched the original vintage fabrics.
ELMC has teamed up together with John Lofgren (based in Japan) to make this garment. John has worked with vintage inspired garments for years and is well known for making products without compromising on the quality.
Please note. These shirts come up quite snug, so we suggest ordering 1 size up from your normal size.
