This is an original vintage leather leather jacket and we estimate it to have been made in Sweden in the 40's based the cut and the feeling of the leather material. The jacket is a typical civilian jacket, and as you can see by the pictures the leather has an amazing patina that only can be achieved by being used for decades.
This jacket has recently been restored, meaning that the seams have been replaced and it has been re-lined and conditioned to make the leather soft and pliable. It's obviously a worn jacket that has a lot of patina but giving it's age it is in a good condition! The buttons on the front pockets are removed and one can see that the previous owner has decided to wear it with the pocket flaps tucked in the pockets which gives the front of the jacket a cleaner look. One of the side adjusters is missing on the lower back. The zipper is a vintage one in good shape but the lower part of it might need to be fastened as one can see in the pictures. These zippers with a metal opening are of great quality and originally these were riveted in place in order to reinforce the opening of the jacket, and compared to a plastic zipper this one will not break as easily.
