Since 2005 OrSlow has made clothes in Japan that are inspired by vintage garments. Rather than straight reproductions, they focus on interpreting the past through a modern lens with emphasis on quality construction, comfort and timeless style.
This Fatigue jacket finds it's roots in the durable shirts worn by the US Army during the 50/60s known as fatigue shirts. The jacket is made of a thick cotton sateen, afabric produced today in the same way as they were made in the middle of the last century. The jacket has been washed to prevent it from shrinking while also achieving a texture that looks and feels just like a vintage garment!
The jacket has a hood that can serve as an extra protection during cold days and that can be tightened by pulling the leather toggles at the end of the draw strings. There are two chest pockets, the left one with two openings to store pencils or glasses in. There are also two lower hand warmer pockets that are hidden in the side seam of the jacket.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. Width is measured straight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the sleeve length is measured on the underarm from the armpit to the end of the cuff.
