This beautiful fatigue hat from H. W. Dog & Co is their version of a very classic and iconic hat, namely the so called Daisy Mae. Originally worn by the US-Army as a field hat as early as the 30s, it remained in the army for decades to come because it proved to be the perfect headwear for shielding the troops heads and eyes from the sun while also preventing heat-related illnesses.
The fabric is a beautiful linen twill that is soft and glossy. The hat is unlined, making it perfect to wear during summer as well! This version is chain stitched around the brim, giving it extra sturdiness compared to other versions of the daisy mae hat.
