This shirt was part of the collection that we designed for Indigofera a year ago and we are happy that Indigofera chose to keep the style in their collection. This version is made of a beautiful wool quality in a rust red color.
The collection we made found its inspiration in vintage Swedish army and outdoor clothes and the names are all inspired by a beloved Swedish cartoon from the 70's known as Dunderklumpen.
In the Roshirt we looked back in time and and was inspired by the functionality of shirts from the middle of the last century. The shirt has a boxy fit and the two large pockets are placed lower on the chest than what is standard today. A lower placement makes it easier to reach, a detail you usually see on older shirts and above all vintage army shirts.
It works great to wear as an over shirt in spring and early autumn and as a layering garment during the coldest months of winter. Wool has the outstanding and unique capacity of keeping warm even when wet, which is the main reason why wool has been favored to be used in garments for harsh weather.
This wool shirt will be perfect to wear when out on a hike, as wool does not easily get dirty or smell bad like other fibers tend to do.
Douglas is 180 cm tall, weigh 95 kilos and wears a size M.
