The collection SKATA SKATA – is a collaboration with Stockholm-based artist Ragnar Persson.
The collection celebrates the Nordic mythical bird — the magpie — and the feather, both rich in symbolism and story. The magpie carries a long history of myths and meanings across cultures, while the feather has long represented freedom, luck, and craftsmanship, from Native American traditions to Japanese practices. Here, they return with a Nordic touch, with the mythical magpie as the core inspiration.
Indigofera are not only known for making clothes of top quality, they also produce beautiful textiles in the form of pure wool blankets that are made in Norway.
The warming blanket have been an important part of Indigofera’s product line since the start in 2009. On top of Indigofera’s own designs they have done numerous collaborations with designers and artists as well.
