Japan blue's own line is all about the material! These beautiful pants are made from a unique indigo dyed cotton sashiko fabric woven in Japan.
This jacket is inspired by traditional work jackets from the middle of the last century. Combining a classic jacket design with a traditional Japanese sashiko indigo dyed fabric sure makes an interesting combination and it will be interesting to see how this jacket will look after being worn for some years.
This 11oz sashiko fabric is woven for everyday comfort, offering a soft texture.
The indigo threads are rope-dyed like traditional denim, allowing for a beautiful aging process over time. Sashiko fabric was originally used for firemens coats due to its thick, interwoven cotton threads, providing durability against small sparks.
