Japan Blue's version of a classic haori jacket, it's the name of a traditional Japanese short jacket thats worn as a layering garment on top of a kimono.
The fabric used is a indigo dyedwoven sashiko where thick threads are woven into the fabric to reinforce and add durability, a necessity for a garment made of this fabric that commonly was used as a fire fighter garment back in the days and are still today worn while practicing martial art.
