Second Hand LVC 1984 501 Jeans Rigid W32

The Levi's Vintage Clothing collection was first made back in 1998 and is all about digging deep in the brands rich history and in the Levi's San Francisco archive to find unique products and to reproduce them so more people can enjoy history in a contemporary way. The brands slogan "Quality never goes out of style" describes the LVC collection in a great way.

The 1984 501 model has a high rise with a straight legs, It has a two horse brand paper tag with the text "care instructions inside garment" printed in black just bow the 501 text. When these were manufactured, it had become law that garments should be sold with clear instructions for how to care for them. In addition to the selfedge, this text is one of the details that can be used to date Levi's jeans from this time. These jeans was also the last year that Levi's used unsanforized denim woven in USA for their 501's making them sought after vintage garments today. These ones however has been made with Japanese denim fabric woven to replicate the original vintage fabric as close as possible. 

These jeans also belong to the small e era. The text on the red tab located on the rare pocket changed from "LEVI'S" to "Levi's" due to the fact that someone thought it's more polite to write a name with just a capital first letter and the capital E was change to a small "e" which has been the standard up until this day.

Here's a pair of second hand LVC 1984 501 Jeans in a splendid condition. No signs of wear is to be seen on these jeans. They have been washed but probably shrunk too much for its previous owner. These LVC's are small in size so make sure to check our measurements below as they are smaller than what you could expect from a size W32.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. The thigh measurements are taken 10 centimeters down from the crotch straight across the pant leg.
