The inspiration behind these dungarees came from the protective gear used by the US Navy back in the 40 to 60s. Originally, they were designed to keep their wearer warm while facing the tough weather onboard a ship.
The dungarees feature a lot of interesting details and are designed to be comfortable and functional to wear. They have two large side pockets combined with one large rear pocket. At the side of the pants you can button them using the metal clips referred to as "Lobster hooks". These clips wear originalyl used because they are easy to fasten while wearing gloves and they are also easy to open if one needs to get out of the garment quickly. At the back there is a leather strap that will ensure that the suspenders stays in place.
These pants are designed to be unisex and we thing they look their best worn oversized!
