Papa Nui is a small cap making brand that's built around the love of things with utility! Mixing military, surfing and a big spoon of vintage clothing is the inspiration that goes behind these products!
The Superfort cap is influenced by the so called A3 Mechanic's Cap as worn by the US-Army in the early years of WWII. The Papa Nui version is made with a high attention to details, made of a six panel construction that fits the shape of ones head perfectly. The fabric is a great HBT twill fabric reproduced to look and feel like the fabrics used back in the 40s. On the inside this cap has a kangaroo leather sweatband that will be great to wear during summer. The leather will be nicer to wear than a cotton band and it won't get sweaty and smelly in the same way as a cotton or plastic cap might get. All interior seams are also covered with a cotton tape. The brim is made with felt making it sturdy but still soft, so one can decide how to wear it. No worries if you prefer to fold it and keep tuck it into your backpocket, it wont brake!
