Pure Blue Japan has always been about making interesting fabrics. They use a low tension production method woven on vintage shuttle looms using only the finest cotton from Okayama. The leaf symbol embroidered on their garments is a indigo leaf from the "Persicaria Tinctoria" plant, also known as the Japanese indigo plant.
