Rocky Mountain Featherbed GT "Grand Teton" Down Jacket Emerald

Rocky Mountain Featherbed is a true icon when it comes to the history of functional outdoor clothes. The Rocky Mountain Featherbed vest was originally made back in the 1960's and the idea was to take the traditional western style garments and combine them with the new technical materials to make outdoor garments for a new era to be worn by lovers of the great outdoors. The jacket made of sturdy nylon filled with down combined with the Cowboy aesthetic using a typical western shoulder yoke became a hit and could soon be seen in every other ski slope!

The original Rocky Mountain brand made their last garments in the mid to late eighties and we are happy that the Japanese manufacturer 35 Summers Co gave new life to the brand in 2005.

This beautiful down jacket comes from Rocky Mountain Featherbed's GT "Grand Teton" collection. Inspired by functional down jackets from the 60s/70s, which we usually associate with brands like Eddie Bauer to name one. The color of this is absolutely wonderful and we associates it with the feeling in the ET movie from 1982. Imagine riding a mountain bike with ET in the basket wearing this jacket!

The body of this jacket is made of nylon and and the filling is down, the jacket has two lower hand warmer pockets, and two chest pockets
