This is a true icon when it comes to the history of functional outdoor clothes. The Rocky Mountain Featherbed vest was originally made back in the 1960's and the idea was to take the traditional western style garments and combine them with the new technical materials to make outdoor garments for a new era to be worn by lovers of the great outdoors. The vest made of sturdy nylon filled with down combined with the Cowboy aesthetic using a typical western shoulder yoke became a hit and could soon be seen in every other ski slope! Today the vintage ones from the 60s/70s are sought after and can fetch a high price on the second hand market!

The original Rocky Mountain brand made their last garments in the mid to late eighties and we are happy that the Japanese manufacturer 35 Summers Co gave new life to the brand in 2005.

This is a thin nylon wind jacket. Intended to be light in weight and easy to carry as a protective layer garment agains wind and rain.

The jacket is second hand but it as good as new and it looks like it has never been worn.

Douglas is 180 cm long with a weigh of 86 kilos and wears a size 40.
