Studio D'artisan was founded by Shigeharu Tagaki in Osaka Japan back in 1979 and it was the earliest of the five Osaka brands that later became known as the Osaka Five, five brands from Osaka that put Japanese denim on the map and created the foundation of Japanese denim production.
Here is a second hand heavy weight sweatshirt. Knitted on vintage loop-wheel machines in Japan and dyed with indigo.
The shirt is second hand but in great condition and it looks like it hasen't been worn much at all.
