Sugar Cane is a Japanese brand focusing on reconstructing the early days of vintage workwear history. The brand has roots that goes back to the 1950's but it wasen't until the late 80's that Sugar Cane started building the reputation for being one of the best denim makers in Japan and it is a well earned reputation they still deserve!
This is Sugar Cane's version of a classic work shirt, made of a beautiful indigo dyed cotton fabric with a woven pattern in a mixture of stripes and arrows in white, blue and red. The Dutch of this fabric makes one think of garments produced in the early 20th century with a texture that is hard to find these days.
