Sugar Cane is a Japanese brand focusing on reconstructing the early days of vintage workwear history. The brand has roots that goes back to the 1950's but it wasen't until the late 80's that Sugar Cane started building the reputation for being one of the best denim makers in Japan and it is a reputation they still deserve!
Here's Sugar Cane's version of a classic vest. Inspired by the beautifully hand woven textiles created by Native Americans.
This vest is cut as a traditional vintage work vest, made of a stunning indigo dyed fabric and lined with a soft and warming cotton boa. The vest has two front pockets, four five cents coin buttons and all edges of the fabric are covered on the inside.
A perfect garment to wear during the cold months of the year, either on top of other garments or as a base layer to provide extra warmth.
