Sugar Cane Co. Union Supply 10.25oz Palaka Western Short Sleeve Shirt

The brand Union Supply Co. Ltd. was founded back in 1922 by Kayoji Yasuda, born in Japan. He lived in Hawaii and supplied work wear for people working in
sugar cane fields and other farms, but he also manufactured garments that met
the needs of Paniolo (Hawaiian cowboys). Palaka check, the fine indigo dyed fabric was loved by both workers and cowboys on the island of Hawaii.

This shirt is manufactured by Sugar Cane Co. and Sun Surf under the original brand Union Supply Co. Ltd. It features the classic Palaka check in a short sleeve western shirt. Indigo part of the Palaka check is an extra dark blue compared to other Palaka  patterns. The fabric is a thick 10.25oz  making this a sturdy summer shirt.
