Vintage 1950's Buffalo Plaid Wool Hunting Jacket

Here is a nice example of a vintage American hunting jacket from the mid-20th century. In a time where the economy was blooming and people started to get more spare time, for outdoor activities and the leisure wear was becoming more popular. Hunting and fishing is just two activities that increased in popularity during this time.

This is an iconic wool hunting jacket from the mid-20th century with time period details such as large, roomy pockets and an overlapping yoke that ensures that rain runs off the jacket smoothly. On the lower back the jacket has a large so called game pocket as well.

The condition is good for it's age. Without any visible damage but unfortunatly the neck label is missing on this one so we cant know the name of the manufacturer.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. Width is measured straight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the sleeve length is measured from the top of shoulder of the arm to the end of the cuff. Across Shoulders is measured straight across from shoulder point to shoulder point.
