Here is a nice example of a vintage 1950's French double breasted butchers Jacket made by Duthilleul & Minart. From a time when work clothes had a tailored cut and when dressing up within their work up was valued.
The jacket is in great condition for its age and the dogtooth cotton fabric makes it perfect as a summer jacket worn with a pair of light colored slacks.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. Widthis measured straight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the sleeve length is measured from the top of shoulder of the arm to the end of the cuff. Across Shoulders is measured straight across from shoulder point to shoulder point.
