Vintage 1968 M-65 US Army Field Jacket Small Short With 1987 Liner
The M-65 Field Jacket was an improvement on the M-51 Field Jacket. With some changes from its predecessor such as the introduction of velcro instead of buttons in the cuffs and at the collar, the M-65 also has a built in hood that's hidden in the collar. The jacket is made in windproof cotton sateen cloth and features four pockets on the front and a drawstring waist, just like the earlier versions of the Field Jacket. The olive drab version remained in service until the early 80s and was then replaced with a woodland pattern camouflageversion.
This is a Vintage original from 1968 with a liner from 1987. When it comes to condition, it's practically new. Incredibly good condition considering the age of the jacket.
The size "short" is not as common and we really appreciate that the fit is boxier than the more common "regular" variants.
