Vintage original US Army Ripstop Tropical Jacket from from 1970. The fabric is a durable Ripstop cotton poplin fabric. The thin cotton was ideal to wear in order to withstand the tropical climate in warmer regions. The jacket has four large front pockets that are generously shaped in order to store plenty of necessities. The two chest pockets are slanted which makes them easier to reach into, a detail that's commonly used on garments where the wearer might be occupied with one hand and is often seen on military garments and motorcycle jackets.
The condition of the jacket is good for it's age and the only visible damage is a repair above the chest pocket (see pictures).
