This is a vintage 60's Eddie Bauer puffer vets. When it comes to the history of the down puffer jacket it all begun back in 1936, when Eddie Bauer introduced the Skyliner jacket. The jacket was made of down feathers within quilted fabric and was an invention that mr Bauer came up with after nearly losing his life to hypothermia during a mid winter fishing trip. Ever since, the down puffer jacket has proven to be the best protection against extreme cold weather. The combination of a light weight jacket, a durable windproof shell fabric and the insulation quality of down makes the jacket superb as protective outerwear in cold climates. Up to this day the down puffer jacket has remained the best option for a lightweight jacket to be worn in extremely cold climates.
Eddie Bauer became well known for producing functional outdoor clothing and this vest is a good example of it. Produced in the 60's with the beautiful vintage Eddie Bauer logo in the neck.
The vest is vintage but in great condition for its age. The only natable is a small patch repair on the lower front (see picture).

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. Widthis measured straight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the Shoulders is measured straight across from shoulder point to shoulder point.
