This is a vintage French work jacket from the middle of the last century. The model is commonly referred to as a "chore jacket" and it's functional design combined with a durable and long lasting fabric makes this a jacket that has proven to stand the test of time.
This jacket has been used a lot and the bleached color has a natural wear, giving the jacket an amazing patina that only can be achieved with years of usage. The chest pocket has been removed and the fabric where it used to be shows us a glimpse of how the jackets original color, and it also gives a nice contrast to the otherwise bright blue jacket. The collar has a hole in it and the edges of the jacket and the sleeves are frayed in some places. There is no makers mark but on the innerpocket someone has hand embroidered the text "De Rien" which translates to "You're Welcome"
