The M-65 Field Jacket was an improvement on the M-51 Field Jacket. With some changes from its predecessor such as the introduction of velcro instead of buttons in the cuffs and at the collar, the M-65 also has a built in hood that's hidden in the collar. The jacket is made in windproof cotton sateen cloth and features four pockets on the front and a drawstring waist, just like the earlier versions of the Field Jacket. The olive drab version remained in service until the early 80s and was then replaced with a woodland pattern camouflageversion.
This jacket is vintage and has been used a lot, but it is in great condition given its age and purpose. The jacket has no visible stains, holes or repairs.
