Vintage Made In USA Butwin Leather Sleeves Varsity Jacket Size 40

A vintage so-called collage or varsity jacket from the American brand Butwin. Butwin is an old American company famous for making varsity jackets. Since the jacket is missing labels listing the materials used, we expect this jacket to be from the 1960's maybe early 1970's. We guess that the shell is made out of a wool blend with sleeves of leather. Lining is most likely made out of viscose with a most beautiful patterned print.

The jacket is in great condition for its age. It shows signs of wear and have a fine patina. Worth mentioning is that the lining has a small tear in the elbows, the shell's got a hole next to one of the bottom front buttons. See pictures for further details. All in all, a fine vintage piece with lots of life left in it,

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. Width is measured straight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the sleeve length is measured on the underarm from the armpit to the end of the cuff.
