A great vintage example of the P-43 US Army Utility shirt dated to the Korean War (1950-1953). The fabric is a nice and beautiful faded cotton herringbone twill, a fabric that got it's name because the texture resembles the skeleton of a herring. This weaving technique is most commonly used in wool textiles and for more dressed up suits, but during the 40s and 50s it was also used in the military and and in work wear garments. The cotton herringbone fabric was referred to as the "HBT twill".

This shirt is vintage and has been used a lot but in our opinion all mendings has been done with care and only gives the garment a unique patina as a reminder of the garment's history.

No size labels but it fits like a Small / Medium. Please see measurements below.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. Width is measured straight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the sleeve length is measured on the underarm from the armpit to the end of the cuff.
