The M-37 wool shirt was a standard issue shirt that was worn by all troops in the US Army and the Air Corps. It is made of a brownish green wool flanell that will be nice and warm to wear. This version is dated to June 1943 and it also features the so-called "gas flap". This double layered fabric on the front was a way to protect it's wearer from modern warfare such as blister agents from reaching the soldiers' skin.
The shirt is vintage and in absolutely great condition for its age without any visible damage.
