Vintage original US Army M-42 HBT Twill pants. The M-42(1942) is the second pattern of the HBT Fatigue Uniform. These sets all used 100% cotton Twill, the two first patterns used the lighter green color and the third pattern had a darker green color. These pants come with two buttoned cargo style side pockets. Those are the only pockets that these pants have. The fabric used was a 100% cotton HBT Twill with the same quality as used on its predecessors. A nice and sturdy cotton herringbone twill, a fabric that got it´s name since the texture resembles the skeleton of a herring. This weaving technique is most commonly used in wool textiles and for more dressed up suits, but during the 40's and 50's it was also used by the military.
These pants are vintage and they have a beautifully developed patina. It´s vintage state is great and these come from a devoted collector. In our opinion, these are in a very sought after vintage condition. They are labeled W32 and L33. But please read our measurements to ensure a good fit.
