These jeans are made in Japan by Warehouse & Co. Warehouse is known for making some of the best vintage replica garments in the world and their attention to details when it comes to material and manufacturing techniques makes it hard to tell the difference if you compare a Warehouse garment with an actual vintage piece.

In a time when jeans was becoming more and more popular in Japan the youth were looking for original vintage jeans made in USA back in the 40s 50s. They were looking to get that genuine style associated with the hay days of denim. In the 80's Levi's made decisions that came to lower the quality and durability that denim became known for and when original vintage garments became harder to find a new era for Japanese denim was born. Five brands became known as the "Osaka five" and Warehouse was one of those brands!

Created to mark Warehouse’s 30th anniversary, the S1003XX-LTD is a limited-edition version of the WWII-era five-pocket jean. Drawing on original garments and the material restrictions that shaped denim production during the 1940s, the model recreates not only the construction and details of the period, but also the distinctive feel and atmosphere of the era that gave these jeans their unmistakable character.

Built from approximately 14oz, 6.7 × 6.7 count selvedge denim produced by Kurabo — the first Kurabo denim ever used by Warehouse. The fabric is blended with brown cotton, giving the denim a slightly rough texture and naturally uneven appearance. Woven with a white and pink selvedge ID, the denim gradually fades to a soft, dusty blue, while the uneven surface becomes more visible with wear, creating a dry and richly textured vintage character.

These Jeans are Shrink To Fit! All measurements are taken on unwashed jeans.

Regarding the sizes of these jeans, they are unwashed and will shrink to tagged size when washed.

Thigh Width / Leg Opening: 1 cm

Douglas is 180 cm tall with a weigh of 87 kilos and wears size 34(unwashed), combining the jeans with a Warehouse 4113 t-shirt, a pair of Yuketen shoes and a custom made indigo beret.

Hemming is always included when you purchase a pair of jeans from us! Give us a comment during check out and we will shorten them before we send them. Keep in mind that you won't be able to return the jeans if we alter the length for you. For hemming, we'll use a vintage Union Special chain stitch sewing machine, to match the original seam of the jeans.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. The thigh measurements are taken 10 centimeters down from the crotch straight across the pant leg.
